We are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal and sensitive information we may hold, in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (including the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and applicable NDIS rules and standards.

  • Other information you provide voluntarily (e.g., feedback, survey responses, testimonials).

  • When you register as a client or participant, or enquire about our services.
  • During provision of services under the NDIS or otherwise (via assessments, support coordination, servicing, billing).

  • From third parties where permitted by law or with your consent (for example, allied health professionals, your advocate, or referral source).
  • Automatically through our website (cookies, web analytics).

4. Why do we collect and use your information?

We collect and use your information for purposes including:

  • To provide supports and services you’ve requested (or your authorised representative has requested).
  • To manage and administer your service agreement and NDIS plan.
  • To communicate with you, and respond to enquiries.
  • To assess and improve our services, monitor outcomes, compile reports.
  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations (for example under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission).
  • For internal business functions (billing, record-keeping, governance, quality assurance).
  • For marketing or promotional purposes only if we have your consent.

5. Disclosure of your information

We may disclose your information:

  • To staff, contractors or service providers engaged by us to deliver services to you.
  • To allied health professionals, support coordinators, plan managers, clinicians, where required to provide the supports.
  • To your nominated representative, guardian or advocate (if you have authorised).
  • To government and regulatory bodies as required (for example the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission).
  • To third-party service providers who assist us (e.g., IT providers, website host, bookkeeping).
  • To a purchaser or prospective purchaser if we sell or restructure our business – subject to confidentiality and your rights under the Privacy Act.

6. Data security and retention

  • We use secure systems and procedures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.
  • Access to sensitive files is restricted to staff who require it for their role.
  • We retain personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law or by the NDIS provider standards.
  • When information is no longer required, we will securely destroy or de-identify it.

7. Access and correction

You have a right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to request its correction if you believe it is inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete or misleading.

Requests for access or correction should be made in writing (email or letter) to our Privacy Officer (details below). We may charge a reasonable fee for providing access (if permitted by law) and will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Privacy Act or the APPs, you may lodge a complaint with our Privacy Officer (see details below). We will investigate your complaint and respond within a reasonable time.

If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) via https://www.oaic.gov.au.

9. Cookies and website usage

Our website may use cookies or similar tracking technologies to personalise content and track usage. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being used – however this may affect some website functionality.
